The number of people who have not defected among these veterans is less than 8. Those are guys who have been in for a mingle with perseverence. They have now used that position of not having had rebelled back in the bush to fill their stomachs, as our soldiers cut down trees for charcoal and sell to enable them move on with life. The same mentality of 'akdemia' where Juniors had to cook the best food for the 'dhubat' who play dominoes all day under a tree and the Juniors scramble for a small remaining chunk of meat. The same mentality where people are saying, 'your father was not in the struggle so shut up'. What are we if not doomed. I believe South Sudan is bigger than its present woes and can only come out of it if we disarm tribalism, similar to what we want done to the guns loitering the streets.
Rip to those who have lost their lives in this struggle. You died to liberate the physical person but its unfortunate that you forgot to liberate the mind too..... #continuemarching.
